Privacy policy
Blis Web Agency Pty Ltd (ABN 45 144 979 966) ("Blis", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information we collect and hold. This policy explains what we collect, how we use and store it, and how you can access it, correct it, or make a complaint. It applies to our website https://blisweb.agency and to our dealings with clients and enquirers.
Effective date: 14 October 2026
1. The personal information we collect and hold
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
Contact and enquiry details you submit through our website forms, by phone or by email — including your name, email address, phone number, postal or business address, and the content of your message.
Client and project information needed to deliver our web, hosting and support services.
Website and analytics data collected automatically when you visit our site, including your IP address, device type, browser, and pages visited (see section 7).
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our business. We do not collect sensitive information (such as health, racial, religious or political information). Please don't include sensitive information in form submissions or messages to us.
2. How we collect it
We collect personal information:
Directly from you when you complete a form on our website, contact us by phone or email, or engage us for services.
Automatically through cookies and analytics tools when you use our website.
Where practical, we will tell you why we are collecting your information at the time we collect it.
3. Why we collect, use and disclose it
We use personal information to:
respond to your enquiries and provide the services you request;
manage our client relationships, billing and support;
operate, secure and improve our website; and
meet our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it to:
service providers who help us run our business (for example website hosting, email, and analytics providers), who are required to protect it;
others with your consent; and
government or law enforcement where required or authorised by law.
4. How we store and protect it
Form submissions and client information are stored in secured systems with access limited to staff who need it. We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure — including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and keeping our systems updated.
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, and then take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it. We aim to keep as little personal information as we can, and we review and remove old records periodically, at least every 12 months.
5. Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers may store or process personal information outside Australia. In particular, Google Analytics may process website data on servers located overseas, including in the United States. We also use Google, Cloudflare, GitHub and Netlify, which may store or process information in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where we disclose information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with Australian privacy law.
6. Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a copy, and to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or out of date. To make a request, contact our Privacy Officer (section 9). We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. There is no fee to request access, though we may charge a reasonable cost for providing it in some cases.
7. Cookies and website analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. It uses cookies to collect information such as your IP address, device and browser, which we use to improve the site — not to identify you personally. You can opt out using Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
8. Making a complaint
If you believe we have breached your privacy or the Australian Privacy Principles, please contact our Privacy Officer (section 9) with details. We ask that complaints be made in writing so we can investigate properly, and we will respond within a reasonable time (usually 30 days).
